How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
There are two parties in this process. The first is Operationsscreen Plumbing, the referral service. We take the details of your problem and route your request. The second is an independent plumbing, drain or sewer provider in our network. The provider is the one who gives the quote, does the work and stands behind it.
That split is on purpose. Referral, not repair.
What Happens After You Reach Out
First, you describe the problem. Short and simple is fine. Say what is leaking, what is blocked and where.
Next, your request goes to a provider who handles that kind of job near you. The provider will ask follow-up questions, such as when it started and whether the water is shut off.
Then you and the provider decide on a plan. Nothing is final until you agree to a written quote.
Call hours vary by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What to Ask an Independent Provider
A few good questions can protect your budget:
- Can you put the price in writing before work begins?
- What is included, and what could raise the cost?
- Is there a separate fee for the visit or the diagnosis?
- Are you licensed and insured for this kind of work in my town?
- Will a camera inspection help on a sewer or drain problem?
- Do you offer a repair option and a replacement option?
- What happens if you find something else once you start?
Write the answers down. If two quotes differ a lot, ask why.
You Are in Control
You do not have to accept the first offer. You can ask for another opinion. You can say no. Using this site does not lock you into anything.
If water is still flowing, do the shutoff first. Turn off the main water valve, switch off power near standing water if it is safe to do so, and move valuables up. A calm few minutes now can limit damage while you wait.
